Elaine M. Wilkins, MFT
Elaine M. Wilkins, MFT, #MFC38237, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Elaine is the co-founder and co-director of The Vine. Elaine has been counseling individuals, couples, children, adolescents and families in private practice since 1995. Elaine enjoys working with all types of clients. Her specialties include marital therapy, women’s issues, parenting skills, adolescent and child issues of all ages. Elaine has extensive training in play therapy and her office is equipped with a wide range of toys, sand tray materials, and numerous art supplies. Children love coming to Elaine’s office! Elaine was the founding president of the San Diego Chapter of the California Association for Play Therapy in 1997.

Elaine completed her masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling at the University of San Diego in 1996. She has also acquired a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from National University and has worked as a school counselor in both public and charter schools. Her school counseling credential allows her a deeper understanding of the educational issues of her child and adolescent clients. Overall, Elaine is deeply committed to her work and attempts to help and encourage her clients throughout their personal journeys. Her Style is both caring and compassionate.
